Birka type 1B shoes

Shoes based on the finds from Birka.

The shoes have been fully cut and sewn by hand with waxed linen thread.

They are made of cowhide with a thickness of 3.2 to 3.5 mm.

Height 15cm.

Birka shoes are very durable, comfortable, pleasantly soft, perfect for everyday use. A product of the highest quality leather. Made to measure, tied with a leather strap (complete with shoes). A sewn-in leather heel reinforcement guarantees high durability. Thick 4.5-5mm sole ensures long use. In total, you have about 8mm of leather under your foot!

All dimensions are best taken on a thin sock. If you are going to wear a thick woolen sock, include this in NOTES – it will affect the size of your shoes.
